Welcome to Orchard View
Orchard View is a community where we endeavor to manifest the Kingdom of God. We don't want to just do church, but want to have our whole lives communicate the Good News to everyone we come into contact with. We hope that includes you! We are not perfect. We are flawed and frail. Our stories most likely mirror yours. But we have found a higher hope and purpose for living out our lives within the presence of Jesus, who offers us friendship and fellowship, if we respond to Him. Join with our faith family as we encourage each other in our journeys of life. With God and each other, we are stronger!
God desires to have relationship with people. With that relationship comes His daily help and presence in the face of life's adversities. The Bible shares how we develop that relationship with Him. The world will give its personal ideas of happiness but it is only the truth of God that will fulfill that inner longing in man's soul.

Service Style
Our services are pretty relaxed and informal. We are a genuinely friendly community of people, who are happy to welcome you and help you feel at home.
Service Elements
A typical Sunday includes a time of greeting and announcements. We sing a variety of contemporary worship songs and hymns. The pastor will share an inspired word from God. Following our service, we transition in our community room for a time of refreshments and fellowship.
We observe Communion once a month on the last Sunday of every month
Dress
Come just as you are! There is no dress code here. Grab a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate at our beverage station and enjoy your morning with us!
Childcare
The presence of children is a gift to the Church and they are a reminder that we are growing. Relax! God put the wiggle in children; don't feel you have to suppress it in God's house. Children are welcome and at home at Orchard View.
Our J.A.M (Jesus and Me) program provides a Bible lesson and activity for our Toddler-aged children during the sermon portion of our morning program.

"The Colors of Easter"
Beginning March 3, Pastor Mike will be launching a new series. We will focus on a different color each week and how it relates to the Easter story. Our church will be decorated with that color for the week and the faith family is encouraged to wear clothing that reflects the color each week. March 3: Black | March 10: Purple | March 17: Red & White | March 24: Green (Palm Sunday) | March 31: Yellow (Easter) | April 7: Blue

Sign ups for door-to-door, Volunteer grocery deliveries happening weekly after each Sunday morning service. If you are interested in delivering, the sign up is on church bulletin board.

Family Activity Day
Join us Saturday, March 23 for board games at 2 PM, a burrito dinner at 4 PM, and a newlywed game at 5 PM, featuring couples form our church vying for the top prize! This event is free. make this a part of your calendar to interrupt the winter blues
Weekly Lenten Devotional Guide
These will be made available each week at the church. This is a collection of devotionals that will help you prepare yourself spiritually for the coming of Easter. The Tuesday morning prayer group will be using the devotions but all who would like one are free to grab one.
360 Leadership Conference 2024
Join us Saturday, March 16 at South Church in Lansing, Michigan. This is a day full of conferences for pastors and laypersons on a variety of church topics. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Lunch is provided. See Pastor Mike if you like to register.
Maundy Thursday Service
Join us Thursday, March 28 at 6 PM at Orchard View for a special time of recognizing our unity to each other and in Jesus as we observe various stations of worship (communion, hand-washing, prayer, etc.) This will be a low-stress service and will reflect on important practices related to the life and teachings of Jesus
